Edge of Faith has a wonderful discussion with Jonathan Leeman about the Church, the Kingdom, and Politics. We discuss the concept of political ideology as an idiom for worldview, what is right and wrong, the role of government, and how people should live. Jonathan explains these ideologies, such as Liberalism, Conservatism, Socialism, Marxism, Republicanism, etc. These ideologies all have their starting points, and they all define what is just and true. As Christians, we should all know that our ideology begins with King Jesus, i.e., we are part of a kingdom. If we do not have this concept firmly in our mind, than any of the "ism"s above will lead to idolatry. This concept of kingdom political ideology is profound and needs to be understood fully by all Christians.
